An invitation-only amateur golf season

Their tournament ends Sunday.
Yours begins Monday.

Practice Monday. Compete Tuesday. Chase the championship Wednesday.

The AmaTour is being created for passionate amateur golfers who want to experience select championship venues immediately following professional tournament week.

Founding Membership interest is now being accepted.

The idea

Follow the season.

The professionals compete through Sunday. When the tournament concludes, The AmaTour begins.

Members arrive Monday to learn the course and prepare. Competition begins Tuesday. Wednesday crowns the event champion. Throughout the season, members earn points toward season standings and qualification for The AmaTour Championship.

This isn’t another golf trip. It’s your season.

The member promise

A different kind of golf calendar.

The details are intentional. The three-day rhythm is what turns a venue into an event.

MONDAY01

PREPARE.

Practice facilities. Course orientation. Member credentials. A welcome and pairings evening. Monday is intentionally non-competitive.

TUESDAY02

COMPETE.

Round One begins. Official pairings, tournament scoring, leaderboards, and the first move in the season standings.

WEDNESDAY03

CHASE IT.

The Championship Round. Final pairings, the final leaderboard, a trophy presentation, and a new event champion.

Why it exists

Come for the course. Stay for the season.

01

Your own season

Events, standings, rankings, and a Tour identity built for serious amateur competition.

02

The course, next

Follow professional golf, then experience the championship venue immediately after tournament week.

03

Three days, precisely

A considered rhythm: prepare Monday, compete Tuesday, and chase the title Wednesday.

04

A field with intent

Meet golfers who travel for the game, value the details, and want more from every round.

The season concept

Every round counts.

Strong finishes would move members through the season standings. Top-ranked members may qualify for The AmaTour Championship: one final event, one final leaderboard, one champion.

The venues worth chasing

The places pros leave behind.

After the professionals leave, the fairways remain. The AmaTour is being shaped around the championship venues golfers know by name — places that would turn a competitive week into a season-defining memory.

Augusta National Golf Club

Home of the Masters, where Amen Corner and the final nine live in golf’s imagination.

Pebble Beach Golf Links

The cliffside California coastline, with the Pacific turning every closing hole into a postcard.

TPC Sawgrass

The island-green 17th and a stadium atmosphere that makes every shot feel consequential.

Torrey Pines Golf Course

A dramatic coastal test above La Jolla, shaped by ocean views and demanding championship rough.

Bethpage Black

A walking, public-access major venue known for its warning: “The Black Course is no picnic.”

Whistling Straits

Lake Michigan beside you, winds in play, and a links-style championship canvas in Wisconsin.

Kiawah Island — Ocean Course

The Ocean Course’s exposed shoreline and shifting winds make every hole feel like a duel with the coast.

Questions worth asking

Before you request a place.

What is The AmaTour?+

An independent concept for an invitation-only amateur golf season. Members would arrive at select championship venues immediately after professional tournament week, then play a two-round competitive event Tuesday and Wednesday.

Do I need to be a scratch golfer?+

No. The concept is for serious amateurs across a range of handicaps who enjoy competition, travel, and the standards of championship golf.

Why Monday through Wednesday?+

The rhythm creates a distinct experience without asking amateurs to play three consecutive competitive rounds. Monday is for preparation; Tuesday and Wednesday are for competition.

Are participating courses confirmed?+

Not yet. Any venue shown here is a target only. The inaugural schedule will consist solely of confirmed participating venues, announced before financial commitments are requested.

Is The AmaTour affiliated with the PGA TOUR?+

No. The AmaTour is currently independent. No PGA TOUR affiliation, tournament partnership, or course participation is implied.

When would I pay?+

Final membership pricing and terms are still being developed. No payment is collected during this initial validation stage.
